One day, a girl appears on Andrey's doorstep and offers to play the role of a dog, taking its place - such psychological help for money. Andrey refuses this crazy idea, but when despair reaches its limit, he... agrees, and the strangest adventure of his life begins.

The Mousekewitz family has settled in America: Pa now runs a small violin shop in a little town in the Far West, a wild and dangerous country.
